DataTrac is available to clients in two formats: Deployed or Hosted. FocusIT is an authorized hosting partner with DMD and delivers all DataTrac products in a software as a service offering. With the hosted version of DataTrac all your data is stored on our hosting servers and accessed by your company over secure internet connections. This provides you access to your DataTrac data from any place at any time.

Loan Security Concerns
Mortgage companies collect a great deal of
sensitive about their customers and this information is the cornerstone
of your business. Ensuring that this information is not only secure
from outside attacks, but from other mortgage companies is critical.
Mortgage companies want to be sure that their information will not be
shared or seen by other companies. This is why the security of the
DataTrac software and the physical hosting location is the top priority
of DMD and focusIT.
Software Security
DataTrac's hosted Software as a Service (SAAS) system is fully compliant with the Statement on Auditing Standards, No. 70 Type II (SAS 70 Type II). This just means that the software meets industry guidelines for security standards, similar to the types of certifications banks get for providing online banking services.
Physical Server Security
FocusIT’s DataTrac hosting infrastructure is located in a tier II SAS70 Type II and ISO9001 certified SunGard data center. It utilizes the following for its core infrastructure: redundant 40mbs Internet connections, redundant power, redundant backup power, redundant firewalls and switches, multi-tiered server architecture so DataTrac front-end and back-end activities are separated (improves performance and security) and redundant backup systems with 30-days of files on hand at all times.
Support Services
Help Desk Access - focusIT provides all customers with access to its helpdesk from 5:00am to 10:00pm, 7-Days a week, 365 days a year. This service covers the gaps that DataTrac does not support including connectivity questions, DTO client downloads, and basic password and security issues. FocusIT still anticipates that customers will call DataTrac for the “how to” questions such as loan calculations and template creation, but it covers the areas they cannot. FocusIT guarantees 80 percent of all calls will be answered in two minutes or less.
