Real Estate Express

Real Estate Express is a part of the McKissock group of companies and it’s one of the more well-known real estate schools. Since they started in 1996, over 200,000 people have taken Real Estate Express courses. It provides courses entirely online, which is especially useful these days. Licensing courses are available for denizens of 38 states, and in 10 more states it’s possible to get post-license education. While prices range from state to state, Real Estate Express offers great value as the basic option usually costs around $100. More expensive options include Q&A sessions, exam prep, and instructor support. Expect to pay around $300-500 for this package. All options include dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of pre-recorded instructional videos.

National Association of Realtors Center for Realtor Development

We all know what NAR is, but not everyone knows that NAR has an educational center with resources for real estate professionals’ education. Courses offered by the Center for Realtor Development range from 1-3 hour mini-courses to serious time commitments with 20-30 hours of material within. Price-wise, expect to pay from $30 to around $700 per course. Topics covered include appraisal, brokerage, mortgages, and negotiations, among others.

Kaplan

Kaplan has over 70 years of experience providing educational services, from college test preparation to professional training. Luckily for us, their lengthy catalog of courses and solutions includes Kapre, Kaplan Real Estate Education. The offer is split into 5 distinct fields, each having its own program: Real Estate, Appraisal, Home Inspection, Contracting, and Professional Development. Inside the Real Estate section, you’ll find courses to prepare yourself for agent or broker license exams, and multiple options for continuing education credits. These are available in the majority of states. Costs range from $50 for a smaller number of CE credits to $1000+ on the most expensive all-included licensing courses. In most cases, the licensing course price will be in the $300-700 price range, which is a bit higher than competitors’ prices.

The CE Shop

The CE Shop is another high-quality yet affordable option for real estate training. Licensing courses will cost you from $100 for the basic package and up to just shy of $600, depending on the state. Exam prep and post-licensing options are available too if that’s what you’re looking for. But where The CE Shop shines, as the name subtly implies, is the continuing education. CE options are available in all 50 states and include separate CE credit courses as well as pre-packaged (and affordably priced) bundles. The individual courses will set you back by $20-40 on average, while complete bundles are usually priced below $100.
