We’ve got some exciting news to share: Julia Schrock has risen through the ranks and is our new Sales Manager here at focusIT. Julia has been on the team for 3.5 years and works from her home in Philadelphia. Now, she’s our Sales Manager. As Sales Manager, she’ll be managing inbound customer requests, lead management and account management (to name a few things!), so we wanted to give you a proper introduction and congratulate her on her new position. Who better to give you the full scoop than Julia herself. Julia, take it away!
What was your first job ever? My first real job was as an intern on the Secretary to the General Staff team for General Hertling on a military base in Germany
What’s the best part of working for focusIT? The best part of working at focusIT is definitely ‘the journey’ and opportunity for growth. In the short amount of time I’ve been at focusIT, there have been a lot of varying goals, growth, and change. The constant aim for new goals is exciting and opens doors for a lot of improvement and teamwork every single day.
Tell us a little known fact about yourself! I’ve moved roughly 14 times, living on multiple continents, in several countries, and in different states here in the US. It has been a fun ride to say the least! (+ I’m only 28 so hopefully the travels continue!)
What are your top three things on your bucket list? Complete an Ironman race, go kayaking in the Bioluminescent Bays in Puerto Rico, learn to sail
Where are you traveling this year OR what’s your dream travel destination? This changes all the time but I could really go for a trip in Tulum soon.
Coffee or tea? Depends on the day!
Early bird or night owl? Early bird
Favorite office snack? Literally any vegan baked good in sight.
What’s your favorite weekend getaway? Lately, it’s just getting out to the Philadelphia suburbs! Fall is in full swing and it’s gorgeous out here.
Cats? Dogs? Reptiles? Take your pick. Dogs or reptiles.
What’s in your Netflix queue right now? The Haunting of Bly Manor (and anything else spooky for fall).
What book are you reading? Currently, rereading all of Gabrielle Bernstein’s books, pretty much at the same time.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Cheesecake with Oreo chunks (specifically at Cold Stone)
